School is seriously killing me this year. I’m taking 6 classes this semester, 2 of which require one book to be read every week, plus lots of other readings for my other classes. I told myself in the beginning of the year that I would no longer go out and party, but instead do my homework, and that’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve only been out 3 times to parties, and one was before classes even started. If I want to stay on top of any of my work I really can’t go out. It’s no longer an option for me :(

In addition to my 6 classes, I’m once again on the mock trial team and this year is my chance to redeem myself. I’ve been given the closing argument for the prosecution, where I had it last year, but was unable to keep up with the work it required. Mock trial in itself is like a 7th class with two meetings a week each running 3 hours.

Extremely overwhelmed with work this year, but I know I can handle it and am determined to get straight A’s this semester.
